A few Brown’s Brewing Co ales and lagers:

Tomhannock Pilsner
To honor the water source from which all Brown’s Ales & Lagers are made , the Tomhannock Reservoir. Brewed in the traditional style that originated in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia, our Pils is brewed using Saaz Hops (for bittering and finishing during lagering for aroma). Pilsner Malts, and a yeast strain that is used to ferment some of the finest Pilsners in the world combined with the Pilsen – like soft water of Troy’s Tomhannock Reservoir.

India Pale Ale
Our I.P.A. pours an amber gold with a distinctively rich flavor, significant hop aroma and soft, white and creamy head. We blend two-row pale, caramel and Carapils malts with the finest quality, Chinook, Cascade, Summit, Fuggle and Crystal hops to brew our complex and very tasty version of India Pale Ale.

Whiskey Porter
2008 World Beer Cup Silver Medal Winner -Few ales are this fine. Starting out life as a classic English Porter, our Whiskey Porter is transferred to a genuine bourbon whiskey barrel for a two month aging. The barrel imparts the fine characteristics of bourbon and oak into an already-complex ale. A delicious, rich and dark ale is the result.

Oatmeal Stout
According to the Association of Brewers, the world’s finest Oatmeal Stout is brewed in Troy, NY by Brown’s Brewing Company. Brown’s Oatmeal Stout took home a Gold Medal at the World Beer Cup held in San Diego, April 2004 – perhaps the most prestigious beer judging event in the world.

Pumpkin Ale

Brewed once a year from locally grown pie pumpkins harvested at Moses Farm in Eagle Bridge, NY, this sturdy ale truly satisfies all the senses. It pours a lovely mahogany-bronze color with just a hint of orange that is complemented by a rich, warm aroma not unlike fresh baked pumpkin pie. Munich malt provides the perfect balance to the sweet pumpkin and spice flavors, giving it rich malty-sweet flavor that finishes dry and clean.

Maibock
Traditional Bavarian lager that’s golden straw with hints of deep orange, white head. Floral and slightly bready with a light caramel sweetness and a balanced hop bitterness. Full bodied but finishes quite clean and balanced.
