Located in Claverack, New York, Cowberry Crossing Farm is a fifty-acre farm dedicated to local, humane, and sustainable farming practices. Richard and Cecile Harrison, the farmers, ensure the farm’s organic and biodynamic certifications.
The farm’s traditional family operation features a large, diverse vegetable garden that supplies high-quality produce for customers. Additionally, the farm has animals like chickens, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, sheep, pigs, cows, horses, cats, bees, and Glory, the border collie. All animals receive organic feed and have free roam of the farm.
Cowberry Crossing Farm offers a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, providing members with first access to produce, eggs, and a range of meats, including chicken, beef, pork, lamb, and rabbit, which are popular items at farmers markets that often sell out early.

Meats
Grass-Fed and Finished Beef & Lamb. Certified Organic Pork. The meats available from the farm come from their own free-range/pastured animals. They are humanely treated and fed organic feed. In addition, the animals gain additional nourishment by foraging as they roam the farm in the comfort of their own herd.
