Parish Public House is a Louisiana Eatery, Drinkery and Live Music Venue, in the heart of downtown Albany, New York. “The Parish” is a celebration of Louisiana’s Cajun culture – not the surface-scratching New Orleans/Bourbon Street cliché – the Heart of Acadiana. Through food, drinks, music and camaraderie, our goal is to invoke the spirit found at a Cajun Fais Do-Do, each and every night.
The Parish philosophy is simple across their food, drinks and music: freshness. Using a local and regional base to support our efforts:
– source quality ingredients to build the cajun specialties on our menu;
– provide an impressive array of microbrews from the northeast and Louisiana;
– continue to be the biggest supporters of the local, original, live music scene in Albany – while also bringing in a variety of rock, jazz, jam, hip-hop, bluegrass, country, and more, from across the region and country.

The Parish Burger – 1/2 lb Hand-packed Angus beef burger and cooked to your liking, on a bed of crispy little leaf, and topped with tomato & red onion. Served with a side of house-made potato chips.
Cajun BLT – Hickory house-smoked bacon, tomato & romaine lettuce on toast dressed with cajun mayo. Served with a side of house-made potato chips.
Gator Bites – Tender bite-sized pieces of alligator tail meat hand battered, deep-fried & served with a side of cajun mayo.
Crawfish & Andouille Mac & Cheese – House-made andouille sausage, crawfish, & rotini in a three-cheese blend.
Chicken & Sausage Gumbo – House-smoked andouille sausage, chicken and the “Holy Trinity” of onions, peppers & celery in a dark roux served on a bed of rice.
Catfish Po’ Boy – Catfish, fried or sauteed, served on French bread and topped with shredded lettuce, tomato & remoulade. Served with a side of house-made potato chips.
Catfish Sandwich – Catfish grilled blackened or fried to perfection on a bed of baby arugula, topped with tomato & red onion on a roll. Served with a side of house-made potato chips.
