Wicked Finch Farm is an Airbnb farmstay on a farm dating back to the late 1800s. Originally a dairy farm up until the 1950s. In the 1970’s the property became the country residence of husband and wife actors, Ben Gazzara and Janice Rule. After the property changed hands a few times it was purchased in 2000 as a family home.

The farm is the perfect escape from the city with valley and stream views, snowshoes, bicycles and lawn games. If you are a foodie, explore the nearby restaurants, farmer’s markets, wineries, breweries, bakeries, and cheesemakers of the Mid-Hudson Valley.

The feisty yellow finches, herons, hummingbirds and other wildlife that call the area home were the muse for the Wicked Finch name. Another fun fact, the movie “A Quiet Place” starring Emily Blunt and Jim Krasinski as well as its sequel were filmed at the farm next door.
