Frontera Tacos & Tequila is a family owned Mexican Restaurant that was started by four brothers from Mexico 25 years ago. Today with their long experience in creating Mexican cuisine, they offer Mexican food to patrons in the Hudson Valley.

They have developed a menu that offers selections from the wide range of Mexican dishes with a fusion and modern touch; In each dish we offer you a little of the varied Mexican tastes.

  • BORDER NACHOS – Not your lazy nachos!! Served with beans, mixed cheeses, lettuce, pico de Gallo, jalapeños, black olives, guacamole, sour cream, chicken or ground beef.
  • TOP SHELF GUACAMOLE – Made fresh at your table.
  • ULTIMATE CEVICHE – Scallops, shrimp, tilapia and octopus marinated in citrus juices mixed with tomatoes, onions, cilantro, carrots, cucumber and avocados. Drizzle with olive oil.
  • RAJA TAQUITOS – Crispy corn tortilla stuffed with roasted poblano peppers, and potatoes, topped with corn, caramelized onions and mixed cheeses. Served with cabbage, pico de Gallo, avocados, and cilantro crema.
  • FRONTERA’S CHOPPED SALAD = Romaine, chopped tomatoes, jicama, sweet onion, avocado, corn, garbanzo beans, cucumbers, roasted red peppers, and cotija cheese, along with a chipotle ranch dressing.
  • PORK CARNITAS – Quesadilla made with pork carnitas, mixed Mexican cheeses, pico de gallo, Mexican crema, quest fresco, and cilantro.
  • CHILE RELLENO – Beer battered roasted poblano pepper stuffed with Oaxaca cheese topped with poblano queso sauce and drizzled with cilantro crema. Served with white rice, black beans, guacamole, and citrus chipotle slaw.
  • SQUARE KNOT SALMON – Achiote and lemon seared salmon with roasted pineapple. Served with white rice, sautéed vegetable, citrus chipotle slaw.
  • ARROZ CON POLLO – Our signature item! Tender sliced chicken breast specially prepared with fresh mushrooms, onions and green peppers served on a bed of rice with melted Monterrey Jack cheese, topped with our special mild sauce and garnished with sour cream, avocados and tomato.
  • CAMARONES 1800 – Jumbo shrimp sautéed with mushrooms, tossed in a creamy 1800 Tequila, cilantro pecan pesto sauce. Served with rice, beans and citrus chipotle slaw.
  • ALAMBRE FRONTERA – Made with thinly sliced chicken breast and braised pork, mixed with our homemade Mexican sausage, bacon, bell peppers, onion, pineapple and mushrooms, topped with melted asadero cheese. Served with citrus chipotle slaw, rice and your choice of beans.
  • STREET TACOS – Tortilla covered with melted Jack cheese, caramelized onions, shredded cabbage, grilled chicken, pico de gallo and guacamole.
  • PORK CARNITAS TACOS – Braised pork, melted Jack Cheese, caramelized onions, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, and queso fresco.
  • ENCHILADAS SONOMA – Two flour tortillas filled with cheddar cheese, grilled chicken, and spinach. Topped with a creamy chardonnay cilantro pecan sauce, mexican crema, and tomatoes.
  • GORDITO BURRITO – Large soft flour tortilla stuffed with your choice of fajita style steak or chicken, rice, beans, grilled onions and green peppers. Topped with burrito sauce and garnished with pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and melted cheeses.
  • CHIMICHANGA DELUXE – Chicken or Beef. Topped with queso dip. Served with lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes, rice, and beans.
  • VEGETABLE FAJITA – Sautéed spinach, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower, garnished with fresh diced tomatoes and corn.
  • FAJITAS HAWAIIANAS – Tender sliced chicken, peppers, onions, and pepper relish sauce.
  • COCHINITA PIBIL – Slowly marinated tender pork, braised in a banana leaf, laced with Mezcal, joined with red pickle onions and accompanied with black beans and white rice.
  • CHAMORRO CANTINERO – Tender lamb shank marinated overnight in wine and slowly cooked with fresh herbs and Mexican spices, wrapped in banana leaves and baked to perfection in our own guajillo sauce. Served with white rice, your choice of beans and avocado sauce.
  • POLLO PIMIENTO – Tender sliced chicken breast prepared with onions and roasted peppers. Served on a cream roasted red pepper and tequila sauce, cotija cheese, white rice and your choice of beans.
