Takk House is a unique one of a kind space featuring original breath taking architecture, beautiful wrapping staircases, ballroom, custom designed Bride and Groom suites for getting ready, newly renovated restrooms and food staging facilities. The basement level which once was a bowling alley has been transformed into a tiki bar and shuffleboard club named Franklin Alley Social Club.
The large, open floor plan allows the ultimate canvas for creativity. The flexibility of the space lets you stick with its minimalist beauty or create a one of a kind atmosphere – it’s up to you and your imagination and vision.
Takk House Details
Use:
Wedding ceremonies and receptions, private parties, music gigs, film, photo shoots, art exhibits, dance showcases, corporate events, premiers, film screenings, community events, flea markets, product launches and anything else worth celebrating!
Capacity:
For cocktail parties or standing events, we can accommodate up to 300 guests. We can comfortably seat up to 175 guests for dinner with a dance floor. We can hold 200 but it gets a bit tight and your dance floor is sacrificed. If dancing is as important to you as it is to us you might need to think about that!

Ballroom:
With soaring high 20 foot ceilings, romantic paper lanterns, beautiful hardwood flooring, fun bench side seating, double mezzanines, attached catering prepping kitchen, and original architectural details.
Bar/Parlor:
This fully original bar and gathering room has some jive to it. Perfect for cocktail hour and more intimate private events. We have incorporated some industrial concepts and stylish seating options. It is truly the best spot in the house! Capacity: 60-80
The Rosemary:
This absolutely stunning room was created as a hideaway for brides, bridal/baby showers, small parties and photo shoots. It is straight out of a catalog with jaw dropping details and a hint of feminine perfection. You won’t want to leave. Capacity: 15-20
The Barbershop:
This is our version of a “man cave” but the ladies will want to hang in here too. We made this room the ultimate chill spot with the groom in mind. Full vintage cooler, somewhere to play some tunes, watch the game and beat your best man in foosball. We check the cave nightly to make sure no one has tried moving their stuff in. So far, so good. Capacity: 15-20
Franklin Alley Social Club
A social club located on the basement level of Takk House. Offering two deck shuffleboard courts, indoor bocce court, classic arcade games, concession style comfort food and craft beer/cocktails. This space can be rented out for private events or used as an after party location for your wedding guests. It is open to the public Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday unless closed for private events.
