The Thompson-Finch farm has a rich history as a family-owned and operated farm passed down through five generations. Since 1982, Don and Marnie have dedicated their lives to nurturing and cultivating the land, creating a thriving agricultural landscape. What started as a humble endeavor of growing various vegetables and supplying local restaurants and stores has blossomed into a vibrant tapestry of agricultural abundance.

The farm’s first small field of strawberries marked the genesis of a new chapter, revealing a profound connection between people and the land. It became evident that there was a growing desire for individuals to harvest their own food and feel intimately linked to the earth and the sustenance it provides. This realization fueled the expansion of the farm’s offerings as the strawberry fields burgeoned to an impressive 4.5 acres, complemented by a flourishing orchard spanning 1.5 acres.

In response to increasing demand, the farm also diversified its produce by adding one acre of blueberries and half an acre of raspberries. This expansion is a testament to Don and Marnie’s unwavering commitment to providing the community with fresh, high-quality produce while fostering an authentic connection between individuals and the natural world.
