Farmers market The Hudson Valley Open Market is a lively, seasonal farmers and makers market in New Paltz, New York. Established in July 2024, it serves as a vibrant community hub connecting local farms, artisans, and residents. The market adopts an exciting “hybrid” style, combining aspects of a farmers market, craft fair, and food festival. Each week, over 30 vendors – including local farmers offering fresh produce, berries, honey, and wine, as well as bakers and handmade goods creators in skincare, leather, jewelry, and pottery – showcase their products.

The organizers prioritize sustainability, sourcing ingredients within 200 miles and producing goods within 100 miles of the market. Visitors can enjoy live music, face painting, and special community events throughout the season.
